How to Find Us & Where to Park
You can find our office at 5240 Blowers Street, Halifax, in between Johnny K’s Authentic Donairs and Smoke’s Poutinerie. While there is limited (paid) parking in front of our office, we have arranged for complimentary parking for all of our patients at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica.
The entrance to the parking lot can be found on Grafton Street through the parking lot to the left of St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. Take the path leading behind St. Mary’s and park in the lot directly behind the cathedral. Reference the map below for clarification.

Common Eye Emergencies
If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately:
- Eye trauma
- Flashers or floaters
- Object in your eye
- Sudden or rapid vision loss.
First Aid Tips
- Wash your eyes out for 15 to 20 minutes with cool, clean water if they have been exposed to dangerous chemicals. Seek medical help immediately.
- If you have suffered any trauma to the eye, use a cold compress over your eye and seek medical help.
- Do not wash or touch your eye if you have experienced any tears, scratches, or punctures to your eyelid or eye in general. Cover the area with an eye shield and seek medical help immediately.
Workplace Eye Safety
Working on construction sites, in labs, or in warehouses can increase the chance of you suffering an eye injury. Protect your eyes and know the safety guidelines of your workplace.
If you are unsure what your safety guidelines are, speak with your supervisor or follow the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System to ensure your safety.
